Urges the Department of Land and Natural Resources to establish a comprehensive program for protecting native 'Iliahi (Hawaiian Sandalwood) trees, which are endemic and endangered species.

Recognizes that 'Iliahi wood was heavily exported in the early 1800s, nearly driving the species to extinction, and that an ongoing market for export continues to threaten the remaining trees.

Requests that the Department of Land and Natural Resources invest in replanting efforts to restore 'Iliahi populations in Hawaii.

Notes that protecting these endangered native trees aligns with the Department's mission to enhance, protect, and conserve Hawaii's unique natural, cultural, and historic resources.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor and the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
