Requests the Department of Human Services to provide information on the number of instances where minor parents and their children receive public assistance.

Requires the department to submit this information to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 regular session convenes.

Expresses support for the concept of holding grandparents financially responsible for supporting minor parents and their children, similar to laws enacted in at least thirteen states.

References H.B. No. 128 H.D. 1 (2015) which proposes making parents of minor parents responsible for their minor child's support until the minor parent reaches age eighteen.
