Requests the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu to form a working group to address abandoned vehicles and boats on public roadways and streets.

Working group shall be chaired by the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and include representatives from state and local agencies including Transportation, Boating and Ocean Recreation, Honolulu Police Department, and City Council.

Working group must address jurisdiction over abandoned vehicles and boats, removal procedures, notification processes, and cost responsibility for removal from public roadways and streets.

Members serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for necessary expenses including travel; working group must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes.

Working group shall be dissolved on June 30, 2016.
