Request to Attorney General to convene a task force investigating and coordinating medical, educational, housing, and social services for migrants from Freely Associated States (Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Marshall Islands, Republic of Palau)

Over 12,000 Freely Associated States citizens have migrated to Hawaii under the Compact of Free Association, which allows visa-free migration; between 2004-2010 these migrants cost Hawaii $628.7 million in education, health, public safety, and social services

Task force must include representatives from Department of Health, Human Services, Board of Education, Labor and Industrial Relations, University of Hawaii medical and West Oahu faculty, Micronesian Community Network, Micronesians United, and Institute for Human Services

Task force directed to consult with Department of Interior's Office of Insular Affairs on available federal funds and services, coordinate with Census Bureau on data collection, and investigate service needs including impacts on schools

Task force required to submit report to Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2016 Regular Session convening with actions taken, information gathered, and recommendations
