Request the Department of Land and Natural Resources to conduct a feasibility and cost study for constructing a boat ramp in Puko'o, Moloka'i.

East end Moloka'i residents currently lack safe marine access due to shallow mud flats and fringing reefs, forcing boaters to travel to distant Kaunakakai Harbor.

Many east end families rely on fishing as a necessary food source, but limited shoreside resources require traveling farther out to sea, making a local boat ramp essential.

DLNR shall submit a report with findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the 2016 Regular Session.

A certified copy of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
