Requests the Board of Education to review whether the student representative to the Board of Education should be given voting rights.

References S.B. 834 (2015) which would add a voting student member to the Board of Education and eliminate the requirement for a nonvoting student representative selected by the State Student Council.

Notes that testimony supported giving the student representative voting power to ensure student input is equally weighted with other Board members.

Requires the Board of Education to report its findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes.

Directs transmission of a certified copy of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Education.
