Notes that remote schools operate at higher per-pupil costs and face funding disadvantages due to small student populations under the current per-pupil funding system.

Identifies that remote schools struggle to provide the breadth of courses necessary for students to meet statewide high school graduation requirements due to funding constraints.

Directs that certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, and Committee on Weights Chairperson.
