Supports the Republic of Korea's (South Korea) efforts toward peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula and urges North Korea to engage in sincere reunification dialogue.

Acknowledges the 2014 United Nations Commission of Inquiry report detailing human rights violations in North Korea and supports UN General Assembly Resolution 69/188 addressing North Korea's human rights situation.

Calls on North Korea to acknowledge international concerns regarding its human rights violations, improve conditions for its people, and abandon nuclear weapons goals.

States that Korean reunification would provide widespread access to affordable labor, natural resources, and economic and military growth for the peninsula.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Leader of North Korea, the President of South Korea, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
