Requests the Auditor to conduct a comprehensive audit of the Real Estate Commission's policies, procedures, and management.

Real Estate Commission oversees 18,557 licensees statewide and 1,591 registered condominium associations, but has never undergone a comprehensive organizational audit.

Audit must analyze Commission practices regarding management, investigative powers, adoption of administrative rules for chapter 514B, the condominium mediation program, and fee collection for condominium mediation and training programs.

Commission initiated rulemaking for chapter 514B in 2009 but has not completed the formal rulemaking process as of 2015.

Auditor must submit report of findings and recommendations no later than twenty days before the start of the 2016 Regular Session.
