Requests the University of Hawaii system to expand its Senior Citizen Visitor Program to all university and community college campuses statewide.

Currently, approximately 300 senior citizens visit classes at the University of Hawaii at Manoa each semester through the program at no charge.

Cites evidence that continuing education and cognitive activity in senior years is associated with lowering the risk of Alzheimer's disease and age-related memory loss.

Notes Hawaii's senior population aged 75 and older increased 116 percent from 1990 to 2012, significantly outpacing national growth rates.

Directs that a certified copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Chairperson of the University of Hawaii Board of Regents.
