Requests the University of Hawaii Office of the President and College of Hawaiian Language establish a working group to study restructuring the College of Hawaiian Language and examine expansion of Hawaiian language instruction throughout the University of Hawaii System.

Working group must conduct a study on the College's current structure and pedagogy, research student-driven initiatives to learn Hawaiian, and identify strategies to enhance Hawaiian language instruction across all University of Hawaii campuses.

Working group composition includes representatives from the University of Hawaii System administration, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and community organizations including ʻAha Pūnana Leo, Kamehameha Schools, ʻŌiwi TV, and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs.

Working group must report findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2016 Regular Session convenes.

Working group dissolves on June 30, 2016.
