Establishes the position of chief entrepreneurial advisor to the governor, to be filled by a qualified local entrepreneur held in high esteem by the business community.

Advisor is appointed by the governor without regard to civil service requirements and serves at the governor's pleasure with compensation of $1 per year.

Advisor shall meet regularly with the small business community, facilitate contacts between businesses and state agencies, encourage networking, brief the governor on small business development, and conduct promotional activities to support entrepreneurship.

Advisor may request and shall receive assistance or services from any state agency needed to carry out their duties.

Advisor's opinions and services are facilitative in nature and the advisor is not liable for adverse consequences resulting from any advice or activities conducted.
