Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 711-1108 to add exemptions for traditional Hawaiian cultural customs and practices related to corpse preparation and burial or cremation.

Specifies that preparing a corpse for burial or cremation consistent with traditional Hawaiian cultural customs and practices shall not violate the abuse of a corpse statute.

Specifies that burying or cremating a corpse prepared consistent with traditional Hawaiian cultural customs and practices shall not violate the abuse of a corpse statute.

Maintains that abuse of a corpse remains a misdemeanor offense.

Takes effect January 7, 2059.
