Prohibits guardians from revoking a ward's health care directions in medical directives or health care powers of attorney without court authorization.

Establishes that appointment of a guardian automatically terminates the authority of any agent designated in a medical directive or health care power of attorney.

Prohibits guardians from restricting a ward's personal communication rights, including receiving visitors, telephone calls, and personal mail, unless the guardian determines such restriction poses a risk to the ward's safety or well-being.

Takes effect upon approval.
