HI HB2009

Authorizes the Hoisting Machine Operators Advisory Board to employ a 0.5 full-time equivalent office assistant instead of an executive director, with compensation set by the board.

Allows the Hoisting Machine Operators' Certification Revolving Fund to be used for personnel and operating expenses including consultants as necessary, rather than specifically for an executive director position.

Requires the board to submit a comprehensive report to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 regular session covering federal OSHA rules, state law comparisons, other states' certification procedures, existing fee structures, and recommended certification changes.

Repeals the executive director position for the hoisting machine operators advisory board.

Becomes effective upon approval.
