Permits licensed clinical social worker applicants to fulfill all or part of their required 100 hours of direct face-to-face supervision through video conference services that comply with HIPAA and state privacy laws.

Clarifies that at least 60 of the 100 required supervision hours must be individualized supervision, while no more than 40 hours may be conducted as small group supervision (up to six supervisees).

Allows applicants to elect electronic supervision in collaboration with their supervisor, but requires them to review other jurisdictions' laws regarding the impact on license reciprocity and endorsement in other states.

Addresses challenges faced by social workers in rural areas, less populated islands, and those employed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in meeting in-person supervision requirements.

Takes effect upon approval.
