Amends Act 88, Session Laws of Hawaii 2006, which established the motion picture, digital media, and film production income tax credit under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 235-17.

Removes the sunset provision that would have repealed the tax credit on January 1, 2019, and allowed the prior statute to be reenacted.

Extends the tax credit indefinitely by eliminating the expiration date, allowing qualified production costs incurred on or after July 1, 2006 to continue benefiting from the credit.

Takes effect upon approval of the bill.
