Establishes a committee on progress of construction projects to be convened by the governor to monitor state construction projects with at least $25,000,000 appropriated or designated as special interest projects by the governor.

Committee shall identify and bring impediments to project progress to the attention of relevant decision-makers to facilitate expedited decisions and actions.

Committee consists of no more than nine members appointed by the governor, with a chairperson and vice chairperson elected from members, and shall meet a minimum of every two months.

Committee attached to the department of accounting and general services for administrative purposes; may require standardized reports from expending agencies and review project-related documents except those confidential under chapter 92F.

Effective July 1, 2030; department of accounting and general services bears committee expenses while each expending agency bears its own costs for compliance with committee requirements.
