University of Hawaii Board of Regents must perform a program evaluation every two years beginning no later than July 1, 2017 to determine whether the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy should continue operating.

Main evaluation criteria shall compare funds received by the college with its operating costs, and include detailed accounting of existing revenue sources and six-year revenue projections by source.

Board of Regents must report findings to the legislature no later than twenty days before the convening of the regular legislative session each year, beginning with the 2018 session.

If the Board of Regents determines the college of pharmacy is not fiscally sustainable, it may initiate proceedings to terminate the program.

Education of students currently enrolled at the college of pharmacy shall not be disrupted.
