Appropriates unspecified funds from general revenues to the Hawaii historic preservation special fund for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 to implement a data management plan for digitizing over 3,600,000 pages of historic preservation records.

Appropriates unspecified funds from the Hawaii historic preservation special fund to the Department of Land and Natural Resources for the digitization project, creation of databases, geographic information system, and integration of these systems.

Establishes unspecified number of permanent and temporary positions in the state historic preservation division, including one historic preservation librarian and multiple office assistant positions to manage the digitized records and ongoing operations.

Requires the National Park Service-directed data management plan to address digitization of historic preservation records, maps, reports, inventory documents, and databases essential to protecting historic places, burial sites, and aviation artifacts.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
