Amends Section 704-406 to require county police departments to provide copies of all adjudicated police reports to the director of health and defendants when defendants are committed or released on conditions for fitness to proceed cases.

Excludes expunged records, juvenile case records, and National Crime Information Center data from disclosure, and requires police departments to sanitize information that could identify confidential informants or investigatory subjects.

Amends Section 704-411 to require that copies of reports filed pursuant to Section 704-404 be attached to court orders of commitment and conditional release in acquit and commit cases.

Establishes consistency between fitness to proceed statutes and acquit and commit statutes regarding provision of court-ordered examination reports to the Hawaii State Hospital and defendants.

Takes effect upon approval.
