Urges state and county government entities managing land around planned Oahu rail transit stations to include affordable housing, child and family services, and elderly services in development discussions.

Recommends consideration of affordable mixed-income housing, childcare facilities, elderly support services, family restrooms, and intergenerational activities at transit stations.

Encourages incorporation of cultural, historical, artistic, recreational opportunities, locally-focused retail and commercial space, and education and employment programs.

Promotes landscaping, design, and environmental considerations that foster social interaction and create safe, enjoyable public spaces supporting healthy, sustainable living.

Requires transmittal of the resolution to multiple state and county officials including the Governor, Directors of Business/Economic Development, Human Services, the Mayor, and the Executive Director of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation.
