Requests the Lieutenant Governor to chair a working group to investigate the feasibility of establishing a community college sports league in Hawaii.

Working group composition includes representatives from all six Hawaii community colleges, the University of Hawaii Athletic Director, and two community members with collegiate or professional athletic experience.

Working group directed to evaluate feasibility, costs, scholarships, and funding mechanisms for implementing a community college sports league with football and volleyball as pilot sports.

Working group members to serve without compensation and must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session.

Working group dissolved on June 30, 2017.
