HI HCR201

Requests the Department of Accounting and General Services to identify and prioritize repair and maintenance projects for all state buildings based on highest health and safety needs.

Requires the department to submit a report of findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2017.

Aims to help the Legislature ensure capital improvement funds are directed toward the most critical state facilities.

Applies to all repair and maintenance projects overseen by the Department of Accounting and General Services, which manages engineering and architectural services for state agencies.
