Encourages Kamehameha Schools to pursue partnerships with community organizations and non-profits to support educational and outreach efforts for Native Hawaiians.

Encourages Kamehameha Schools and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to partner with each other in formats outside those defined in H.R. No. 21 or H.C.R. No. 54 of the 2016 Regular Session.

Encourages Kamehameha Schools to review owned properties outside the urban core that may be useful for Hawaiian homestead development and consider land exchanges to pursue their mission.

Cites that over 27,000 applicants are on the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands waiting list, Native Hawaiians are overrepresented in homelessness, and Kamehameha Schools is the third-largest landholder in Hawaii behind state and federal governments.
