Request the Department of Education to reduce reliance on standardized testing in Hawaii's public education system

Request the State Board of Education to develop and implement authentic assessments that do not require extensive standardized testing

Limit student preparation for and participation in standardized tests, including practice and interim tests, to no more than three days per school year

Require the Department of Education to inform students and parents about the purpose, potential impact, and protocol of standardized tests, including their right to opt out of statewide standardized testing
