Requests that the Secretary of the Air Force amend AFI 34-242 to provide eight-person firing parties (seven members plus a Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge) at funerals of all Air Force veterans and retirees discharged under conditions other than dishonorable

Notes that active duty Air Force members currently receive full military funeral honors including eight-person firing parties with three-volley salutes, while veterans only receive two-person teams and retirees receive at most seven-person teams without required three-volley salutes

Identifies that the 15th Wing Honor Guard in Hawaii reduced veteran and retiree funeral details from seven-person details to three-person details effective December 1, 2015

Asserts that Air Force veterans and retirees deserve full honor and respect from the United States after passing away

Directs certified copies be sent to the Secretary of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces Commander, 15th Wing Commander, 647th Force Support Squadron Commander, Hawaii's congressional delegation, the Adjutant General, and the Director of the Office of Veterans' Services
