Requests the Prevent Suicide Hawaii Task Force to develop a strategic plan to reduce suicides in Hawaii by at least 25 percent by 2025.

Directs the Task Force to examine and evaluate methods to improve education, awareness, support services, and outreach for suicide prevention.

Requires formation of a temporary subcommittee with 13 specified members including survivors of suicide attempts, mental health professionals, veterans representatives, and representatives from suicide prevention organizations.

Subcommittee members are to be appointed by the Governor, Director of Health, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House from designated agencies and organizations.

Task Force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the convening of the 2018 Regular Session.
