Requests the State Auditor to conduct a sunrise analysis of mandatory insurance coverage for sexually transmitted disease screenings, including HIV and AIDS screenings, during female insured's annual pelvic exam.

Analysis should evaluate both social and financial effects of the proposed mandated coverage as required under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 23-51.

Sunrise analysis references H.B. No. 1897 and S.B. No. 2323 from the 2016 Regular Session.

Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copies of the resolution must be transmitted to the Auditor, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and Insurance Commissioner.
