Request the State Public Charter School Commission to form a working group to evaluate feasibility of establishing a high school diploma granting public charter school program for adult learners

Working group to examine potential impacts to existing adult education programs, including the Department of Education's Community School for Adults

Working group composition to include interested legislators, Superintendent of the Department of Education, Board of Education member, State Public Charter School Commission member, community non-profit members with adult learner experience, and other stakeholders

State Public Charter School Commission shall submit working group findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the Regular Session of 2017

Working group to be dissolved on June 30, 2017
