Urges the Hawaii Department of Education to adopt a STEAM curriculum by integrating arts-based courses into existing STEM programs.

Requests that middle schools and high schools incorporate arts education into at least twenty percent of their curriculum.

Identifies arts education as including visual arts, music, theatre, dance, Hawaiian and Polynesian studies, Hawaiian language, and physical education, not limited to traditional art instruction methods.

Supports combining arts with STEM fields to enhance creativity and problem-solving skills, with studies showing that arts integration improves educational outcomes and aligns with the engineering design process.

Requires certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Superintendent of Education, and Chairperson of the Board of Education.
