Request Governor of Hawaii to create a Kama'aina Homecoming Commission to plan and organize a large-scale reunion event for Hawaii expatriates, particularly native Hawaiians living overseas.

Event requested to be held every five years in Hawaii with a formal welcoming ceremony by the Governor to recognize expatriates' personal, professional, economic, and educational achievements.

Commission requested to consider inviting Bruno Mars as honorary chair and keynote speaker, along with other notable Hawaii-born or Hawaii-connected individuals including Daniel Dae Kim, Michelle Wie, Steve Case, Tom Selleck, Tia Carrere, and Nicole Kidman.

Resolution aims to convert Hawaii's "brain drain" into "brain gain" by encouraging expatriates to share knowledge and success stories, similar to programs like the Philippines' Balikbayan program.

Certified copies to be transmitted to the Governor and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
