Request the Department of Health to study and monitor pesticide drift in Hawaii, which currently has no regulatory structure in place for this purpose.

Require the Department of Health to take air samples for scientific testing of pesticides to assess drift exposure.

Direct the Department of Health to submit findings and a report to the legislature no later than twenty days before the next legislative session begins.

Reference concerns that pesticide drift from restricted use pesticides may cause lingering environmental effects and potential health impacts, including links to childhood cancers, neurobehavioral deficits, and asthma according to American Academy of Pediatrics research.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture, the Director of Health, and the Superintendent of Education.
