Recognizes and commends the collaboration between the Honolulu Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Aloha Shriners for serving children and families in Hawaii and the Pacific Basin.

Acknowledges the Aloha Shriners' establishment on June 12, 1901, as part of Shriners International, and the founding of the Honolulu Shriners Hospitals for Children in 1923 as the second hospital in the Shriner system.

Recognizes the current state-of-the-art facility built in 2009 that provides orthopedic care, neurodevelopmental care, surgery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and related services to Hawaii's children.

Commends the organizations' support of the Patient Transportation Fund, which enables out-of-island patients and families to receive care without financial burden.

Honors the organizations' commitment to providing medical care, academic teaching, and research institutions dedicated to the health and well-being of Hawaii's people.
