Department of Education requested to establish an Erin's Law Task Force to develop a statewide child sexual abuse prevention education program for public schools.

Task force to comprise 11 members including Deputy Superintendent, Directors of Health and Human Services, Attorney General, legislative members, Board of Education representative, and representatives from youth services and abuse prevention organizations.

Initial meeting required no later than August 12, 2016, with Senate President and House Speaker designees serving as co-chairs.

Task force directed to review current resources, identify gaps in prevention education for students and staff, and consider program requirements including age-appropriate curricula, staff training on disclosure handling and mandated reporting, and parental involvement components.

Task force to submit findings and recommendations to legislature no later than twenty days before Regular Session 2017, with follow-up report before Regular Session 2018, and dissolve on June 30, 2018.
