Request that the Department of Health adopt rules requiring medical professionals to provide pregnant women with information about support resources when prenatal testing establishes or is likely to establish a diagnosis of Down syndrome or other prenatally diagnosable disorders.

Prohibit abortion for prenatally diagnosed disabilities until the pregnant woman has received information about prenatal, neonatal, and long-term care resources, except when abortion is necessary to protect the pregnant woman's life or health.

Require the Department of Health to maintain an updated list of national and local resources for care of children born with mental or physical disabilities and make this list available to medical professionals.

Require medical professionals to maintain records of counseling provided to pregnant women, including documentation of the resource list provided, subject to Department of Health inspection.
