Recognizes the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, commemorating the arrival of U.S. ground troops in Vietnam in 1965.

Thanks and honors five named Vietnam Veterans: COL. Edward R. Cruickshank (US Army Ret.), LtCol Richard Spotswood Robertson (USMC Ret.), LtCol David E. Belatti (USMC Ret.), David Umeda (US Army Veteran), and Rene Berthiaume (USMC Veteran).

Acknowledges the service and sacrifice of all Vietnam Veterans, including those held as prisoners of war, wounded, and those missing in action.

Recognizes that Vietnam Veterans' contributions were historically overlooked and sometimes subject to ridicule due to anti-war sentiments of the era.

Honors the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam Commemorative Committee's efforts (2015-2017) to recognize Vietnam-era Veterans and their families in Hawaii.
