House of Representatives endorses and adopts the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a framework for addressing Hawaii's efforts toward social justice and sustainability.

The 17 goals address poverty, hunger, health, education, gender equality, clean water, clean energy, economic growth, infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action, ocean and land conservation, peace and justice, and partnerships.

Urges Hawaii's county councils to endorse and use the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as measurements for each county's efforts regarding people, peace, and the planet.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the President of the United States, U.S. Senate Majority Leader, U.S. House Speaker, United Nations Secretary-General, and the Hawaii Governor for distribution to county officials and state agency directors.

Acknowledges Hawaii's existing involvement in poverty reduction and environmental protection efforts, including youth video productions presented at the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.
