Office of Planning shall review the Hawaii State Planning Act to make recommendations for updating the plan to address current state needs

Review shall include analyzing conflicts between state and county plans, reviewing major state and county projects, analyzing existing policies and operations, and reviewing state capital improvement projects

Office of Planning must submit written report to legislature no later than thirty days before the 2017 regular session with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation

Legislature appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 to support the review and update process (specific amount left blank in bill text)

Act takes effect July 1, 2015
