Requires health insurance policies issued or renewed after January 1, 2017 to cover sexually transmitted disease testing in accordance with national professional guidelines from the United States Preventive Services Task Force and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Applies to accident and health insurance policies, hospital and medical service plan contracts, and health maintenance organization policies, excluding only limited benefit coverage plans.

Mandates that insurers reimburse all costs associated with STD testing to physicians and health care providers who comply with the coverage requirements.

Effective date of July 1, 2050 (applies to policies issued or renewed after January 1, 2017).
