Authorizes pharmacies to provide customized patient medication packages containing prescribed solid oral dosage forms to patients of institutional facilities or members of the general public.

Requires written or verbal consent from the patient, patient's caregiver, patient's guardian, or prescribing practitioner before providing a customized package.

Requires written consent to be accompanied by the patient's current prescription and comply with section 328-16 requirements, United States Pharmacopeia standards, and National Formulary standards.

Defines "customized patient medication package" as a package prepared by a pharmacist for a specific patient containing one or more prescribed solid oral dosage forms.

Takes effect upon approval.
