Proposes amendment to Hawaii Constitution Article V, Section 2 to change how lieutenant governors are selected in general elections.

Requires each gubernatorial nominee to appoint a person from the same political party as their running mate for lieutenant governor following the primary election, rather than holding separate elections for the office.

Votes cast for the gubernatorial nominee in the general election are deemed cast for the lieutenant gubernatorial nominee from the same political party.

Maintains the two consecutive full-term limit for lieutenant governors and preserves gubernatorial lieutenant governor duties as provided by law.

Ballot question asks voters whether the lieutenant governor should be appointed by the gubernatorial nominee from the same party instead of being elected separately.
