Authorizes the Hawaii Medical Board to impose the same disciplinary action (revocation, suspension, or other action) against a licensee based on disciplinary action taken by another state or federal agency.

Requires the board to serve the licensee with a proposed order and allow a 20-day period to request a hearing under chapter 91 procedures before issuing a final disciplinary order.

A certified copy of disciplinary action by another state or federal agency constitutes prima facie evidence for the board's proceedings.

Prohibits a licensee from practicing in Hawaii from the date of the proposed order until a final order is issued if the licensee was disciplined by another state and that state's action prohibits practice there.

Amends section 453-8 to remove the language "for reasons as provided in this section" from the grounds for discipline based on actions by another state or federal agency, taking effect January 7, 2059.
