Removes the prohibition on probation for DUI (operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant) convictions and establishes probation periods of 1-2 years as an alternative sentencing option alongside existing penalties of imprisonment, fines, and community service.

For first DUI offense: Allows probation of 1-2 years as an option instead of mandatory minimum 48 hours to 5 days imprisonment or 72 hours community service.

For second DUI offense within 5 years: Adds probation of 1-2 years as an alternative to 240 hours community service or 5-30 days imprisonment.

For third DUI offense within 5 years: Adds mandatory probation of 1-2 years in addition to existing requirements of 10-30 days imprisonment, fines, and license revocation.

Expands probation eligibility to include convictions for operating a vehicle with suspended/revoked license due to prior DUI (violations under section 291E-62) and removes DUI offenses from the list of crimes ineligible for deferred acceptance of guilty plea status.
