Appropriates general revenue funds for fiscal years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 to the Department of Land and Natural Resources for the Aha Moku Advisory Committee's administrative and operational expenses.

Appropriates additional general revenue funds for the same fiscal years for community outreach efforts by the Aha Moku Advisory Committee.

Notes that although the Legislature unanimously passed Act 288 (Session Laws of Hawaii 2012) establishing the Aha Moku Advisory Committee and appropriated funding, the committee has never been funded to date.

Recognizes the committee's role in advising the Department of Land and Natural Resources on traditional Hawaiian resource management practices across 43 traditional moku (regions) and 589 ahupuaa (site-specific geographic areas).
