Recognizes game mammals, game birds, and fishing resources as integral to Hawaii's food security, culture, and sustainability given that the state imports 85-90% of its food supply.

Acknowledges that hunting and fishing are long-standing cultural practices in Hawaii, with Molokai residents obtaining approximately 40% of daily sustenance from subsistence sources and Hawaii island residents harvesting up to 500,000 pounds of game annually.

Urges state departments to integrate local hunting and fishing industries into food security and sustainability strategies while preserving, protecting, and promoting these industries as viable economic, nutritional, and cultural resources.

Directs that game mammals and game birds from pioneered and sustainability introductions (such as pigs, goats, sheep, and deer) be recognized as resources in game management areas.

Requires certified copies be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture and the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
