Requests the Department of Education to affirm its commitment to upholding Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972, which prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded education programs.

Directs the Department to increase accessibility to Title IX information, examine and revise grievance procedures, and expand Title IX staff resources including at least one full-time dedicated Title IX coordinator.

Requires the Department to provide regular training to students and employees on Title IX protections, how to identify sexual discrimination, and how to report violations.

Requests the Department study and report on adding a Title IX coordinator to each complex area, including potential duties, job expectations, and costs, with findings due to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session convenes.

Expresses concern that the Department's current single Title IX coordinator and limited civil rights staff are insufficient for a department with approximately fifteen complex areas and 255 schools.
