Requests the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to conduct a study determining fair wages for medical marijuana dispensary support staff employees in Hawaii.

Directs the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, in cooperation with the Department of Health, to identify necessary positions within medical marijuana dispensaries.

Requires review of wages and positions for medical marijuana dispensary jobs in other jurisdictions where dispensaries are established to inform Hawaii's fair wage determination.

References Act 241 (2015) which authorized up to eight medical marijuana dispensary licenses statewide, with dispensing to begin no sooner than July 15, 2016.

Notes Hawaii's high cost of living and average Honolulu home price of $868,317 as justification for establishing fair compensation standards for the new industry workforce.
