Designates October of each year as "Farm to School Month" in Hawaii to strengthen and support farm to school initiatives in schools.

Recognizes that farm to school initiatives connect schools and local farms to serve healthy meals, improve student nutrition, and reduce childhood obesity.

Notes that farm to school programs provide students with fresh local produce, educational opportunities through school gardens and farm field trips, and strengthen connections between communities and local food producers.

Acknowledges that Hawaii's average commercial farmer age exceeds 60 years and that farm to school initiatives encourage students to pursue careers in agriculture and farming.

Requires transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Superintendent of Education, Board of Agriculture Chairperson, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Dean, and Hawaii Farm to School and School Garden Hui.
