• Requests the Executive Office on Aging and University of Hawaii Center on Aging to establish a working group to review adult education services available to seniors, including Department of Education programs and University of Hawaii free senior enrollment opportunities.

• Working group is encouraged to include representatives from the Department of Education, University of Hawaii Center on Aging, UH Vice President for Academic Affairs, UH Vice President for Community Colleges, Outreach College at UH Manoa, AARP Hawaii, and Kokua Council.

• Working group is tasked with reviewing whether consolidating some existing programs could create new and improved learning opportunities while being more economical.

• Working group must submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session begins.

• Directs distribution of the resolution to the Governor, Board of Education, Department of Education, University of Hawaii leadership, and senior advocacy organizations.
